Camarillo Economic Growth
While most Ventura County cities are cutting budgets, Camarillo officials say their city has experienced “a moderate amount of growth.” Last week the Camarillo City Council approved a $142.3 million mid-year budget which is an increase from the previous year.
According to Ronnie J. Campbell, Camarillo’s finance director, less than 10 percent of the city revenue is dependent on the federal or state governments — thank goodness.
